Communications at GSK is all about providing relevant, up-to-minute information to support our strategic priorities in the global marketplace. This means engaging and inspiring employees and managing our company image and reputation by developing and delivering consistent messages to patients and doctors, shareholders, the media and the general public.
Our new communications graduate programme will provide you with an excellent, solid foundation to develop a successful career within communications. We will give you a breadth of experience through challenging rotations across internal, external and product communications in our different business areas, such as Pharmaceuticals R&D or Commercial groups, Consumer Healthcare, Manufacturing and cross business groups such as Investor Relations and Media.
The overall aim is to accelerate your early career development through diverse experiences and put you on the path for a future leadership role in communications at GSK.
In order to be successful on the programme you will need to have the ability to assimilate and interpret information and shape it into compelling, clear pieces of communication. We are looking for people with a passion for writing, a motivation to communicate consistently and a drive to deliver results within a fast paced environment.
Whilst on the programme you will be supported by a sponsors group, a programme manager, your current line manager, a mentor and a buddy. Personal development is achieved through tailored training and development plans highlighting specific individual needs. On top of that we also provide formal training opportunities and coaching to ensure your continued development is on track and you are successfully achieving your goals.
When nearing the end of each placement successful trainees work with the programme manager to identify their next placement opportunity which will be appropriate for individual skills development and the business needs.
