- Applicants must hold a full UK work permit to cover the duration of the programme
About Health Outcomes
Health Outcomes is a fast growing specialist area in the pharmaceutical industry. Health Outcomes research focuses on improving peoples’ lives by demonstrating the economic and humanistic value of the present and future GSK medicines through in depth analysis. As part of a high performing team you will undertake a range of health outcomes activity to generate high quality and timely data to support the continued access of specific GSK brands to the UK market across a range of therapy areas including Vaccines, Oncology, Respiratory and Metabolic. This includes leading GSK's interface/submissions to national UK payers such as NICE.
About the Programme:
- The aim of the programme is to develop trainees into Health Outcomes experts with the ability to lead in a market access environment and ensure a future pipeline of talent within this area
- During the programme you will have a variety of placements to provide you with the challenge and opportunity to develop a range of business competencies and understanding of the UK Healthcare environment
- You will also follow a structured development programme incorporating business leadership and technical training and may have the option to further your development through a relevant professional/academic qualification
In order to be successful on this programme you will need to able to express your own opinions, establish good working relationships, be a self starter, influence key stakeholders and have excellent communication skills as well as an analytical and commercial mind.
Key activities you will be involved in:
- Maintain a relevant knowledge of the potential impact of key NHS changes on our capability to deliver appropriate information to key customers in the NHS
- Assist in the development and implementation of GSK strategy on key aspects of our medicines/brand related health outcomes activity, working closely with the Health Outcomes Programme Leader
- Assist in the development of specific National Institute of Clinical Excellence (NICE) submissions
- Develop your analytical and reasoning skills in a commercial environment
