Information Technology
IT plays a important role across all aspects of the GSK business. IT is structured to support the specific needs of specific areas locally whilst being able to leverage size to deliver global value. IT is strongly focused on getting GSK people the tools and services they need to succeed.
Placement Opportunities
- You must have an IT degree (or those with an IT specialism) to apply for a placement
- Number of vacancies = approximately 50
- Start date = First week of July each year
Our IT placements are varied, from technical roles to project management. We will look to place people in the following disciplines:
- Business analysis - Consultancy and analysis of IT applications.
- Project management - Manage IT projects and solutions for a variety of user groups.
- Networking - deployment and improvement of network services and the physical network infrastructure across GSK.
- User support / Service specialist - Technical and business support to enhance and support the IT systems used at GSK.
Our placements are located in the following areas:
- Hertfordshire/Essex
- Greater London
- Dungarven (Ireland)
When nearing the end of the placement you’ll be considered for the IT Development Programme (please see further details on this website) on completion of your degree. Both of which will be dependant on your work standards and approach to tasks set during the year.
