Regulatory affairs

The consumer world is ever changing and as a regulatory placement student, you will play a key role in the life cycle management of many of our trusted global brands such as Panadol, NiQuitin, Sensodyne, Aquafresh and Beechams.

You will gain experience in current cosmetic and medicinal legislation, liaise with external regulatory bodies as well as help us to grow our market-leading position by bringing new products onto the market.

You should be studying for a degree in pharmacy, chemistry or life sciences, be able to prioritise workload, have strong customer focus, demonstrate meticulous attention to detail and most importantly be a team player and be able to work cross functionally with people from a large range of disciplines.

Some of the key activities you would get involved are:

  • To have responsibility for projects involving marketed and development products and to progress the regulatory status of these products in such a manner as not to interfere with the marketing and the development activities of the business.
  • To prepare submissions which are both accurate and high quality and ensure all files and databases are effectively managed.
  • To maintain relationships with external regulatory authorities/bodies to expedite smooth and timely assessment of all applications.
  • To provide advice to marketing and supply chain on the regulatory implications of technical changes.
  • To respond to queries/complaints raised by consumers and healthcare professionals, and to document reported adverse events.
