Working to a five-year plan, our new International Leadership Development programme has been created to attract high potential people like you and put you on the fast track to leadership.

Aimed at emerging leaders throughout the world, the programme offers unique access to a commercial management career, supplemented with some of the best training and development currently available. Although much of your progression will be focused towards the sales and marketing divisions of our diverse and fast-moving business, you may also have the chance to prove yourself in areas such as HR or Finance as the opportunities arise.

GSK Pharmaceuticals International is divided into four geographical regions - Europe, the USA, Japan and International, and it’s in the latter that you’ll be making your mark. As part of the International team, you’ll be helping to provide medicines and vaccines to 116 countries that contain 80 per cent of the world’s population.

The business itself is responsible for around 14 per cent of our overall turnover, and covers eight geographical areas: Asia Pacific, Australasia, Canada, China, Latin America, Mexico, Middle East North Africa and Sub-Saharan Africa. Each of these businesses is run locally by resident nationals wherever possible, and represent seven different nationalities.
