UK PhD Studentships

If you are considering starting a PhD in the UK, GSK could be your industrial sponsor. Our sponsorship will provide valuable additional resources for you and your work. GSK is a research-led company, so our PhD sponsorship works by first identifying the research project and academic partner. We then advertise our PhD studentships on this website, as well as in New Scientist in March/April each year.

We make extensive use of the Research Councils Co-operative Awards in Science and Engineering (CASE) scheme. This scheme has strict eligibility criteria which are published on the Research Councils’ website.
