We are also dedicated to supporting research into new treatments for neglected diseases.
At our Tres Cantos research centre in Spain, we work in close collaboration with other groups to identify new medicines to tackle neglected diseases.
To further promote research into this area, GSK has donated over 800 patents into a patent pool for neglected tropical diseases in least developed countries.
GSK Biopharmaceuticals is a full service contract manufacturing partner in the development of cGMP biopharmaceutical proteins for clinical and commercial use.
We also work closely with academic institutions and have developed more than 800 early discovery research collaborations with colleges and universities around the globe.
We are now seeking out those researchers that might be interested in progressing some of our compounds or have an expertise in our areas of scientific focus.
