There are three core pillars to the relationship:
Since the partnership was announced, work has been under way in Consumer Healthcare, GMS and R&D to explore learnings from McLaren to embed analytics and performance management into key business processes and drive 'Winning Performance' throughout GSK.
In addition GSK's Lucozade brand has partnered with the Vodafone McLaren Mercedes Formula 1 team and will supply World Champions Jenson Button and Lewis Hamilton, and the whole Vodafone McLaren Mercedes team with a range of sports nutrition products that will play an integral role in preparation, performance and recovery in one of the most physically and mentally demanding sports in the world.
The brand-new state-of-the-art learning facility being constructed at McLaren Headquarters will be called the McLaren GSK Centre for Applied Performance. The facility will be used by some of the best business brains to share ideas, develop and collaborate on innovative, dynamic and exciting joint working projects. The McLaren GSK Centre for Applied Performance will be opened in 2013.
