Our partners

The PULSE Team works in collaboration with the community and government outreach teams, as well as local businesses, to ensure that PULSE Assignments have philanthropic and strategic benefit for the communities we serve and for our business. We plan to increase and strengthen PULSE’s global footprint by building the PULSE Partnership Network to include new organisations. We aim to partner with non-profits and NGOs that:

  • Focus primarily on health.
  • Serve communities in great need, especially in developing countries and emerging markets.
  • Are innovative, sustainable, and have a proven track record of positive impact on the communities they serve.

Here are some of the global and local organisations we work with:

 

  • Direct Relief International Direct Relief International

    Direct Relief International provides medical assistance to improve the health and quality of life of people affected by poverty and disaster throughout the world.  Direct Relief works to strengthen the in-country health efforts of their partners by providing them with essential material resources – medicines, supplies and equipment. 

  • The Earth Institute The Earth Institute at Columbia University

    The Earth Institute, Columbia University, works across multiple disciplines to find solutions to some of the world's most difficult problems, from climate change and environmental degradation, to poverty, disease, hunger, and the sustainable use of resources.

  • Save the Children Save the Children

    We work in 120 countries globally to save children's lives, fight for their rights and help them fulfil their potential. Our mission is to inspire breakthroughs in the way the world treats children, and to achieve immediate and lasting change in their lives.

  • Clinton Health Access Initiative

    Clinton Health Access InitiativeEstablished in 2002 and led by President Bill Clinton, The Clinton Health Access Initiative (CHAI) is a global health organization committed to strengthening integrated health systems in the developing world and expanding access to care and treatment for HIV/AIDS, malaria and tuberculosis. CHAI’s solution-oriented approach focuses on improving market dynamics for medicines and diagnostics; lowering prices for treatment; accelerating access to life-saving technologies; and helping governments build the capacity
    required for high-quality care and treatment programs.

    The TB Alliance is dedicated to the discovery and development of faster-acting and affordable drugs to fight tuberculosis. Through innovative science and with partners around the globe, we aim to ensure equitable access to faster, better tuberculosis cures that will advance global health and prosperity.

  • Pro Mujer Pro Mujer

    Pro Mujer provides poor women in Latin America with the means to build livelihoods for themselves and futures for their families through microfinance, business training, and healthcare support.

  • Voluntary Service Overseas VSO – Voluntary Service Overseas

    VSO is a global network of non-profit civil society organisations working globally with communities around the world to fight poverty through the power of volunteering.

  • Ogra Foundation Ogra Foundation

    The goal of OGRA Foundation is to promote and improve health by combating HIV and AIDS, TB, Malaria and other preventable infections and diseases, by pursuing an integrated socio-economic and cultural development in the fight against poverty and social exclusion of the communities living in our project areas.

  • Project HOPE UK Project HOPE UK

    Project HOPE UK is passionate about the health of vulnerable children worldwide. We work to empower impoverished communities to address the key drivers of poor health in children, such as poverty, lack of education, poor nutrition, disease and injustice, so every child has the opportunity to emerge as a healthy, productive adult.

  • Urban Ministries of Wake County Urban Ministries of Wake County

    Urban Ministries of Wake County is a non-profit human service organization that alleviates the effects of poverty in Wake County by meeting people’s basic needs for food, shelter, and healthcare, providing services that promote self sufficiency, and building awareness of the issues of poverty within the larger community by leveraging financial support with volunteers and in-kind contributions.

  • Institute for Indian Mother & Child Institute for Indian Mother & Child (IIMC)

    IIMC is a nongovernmental organisation, committed to promote child & maternal health, literacy and to accelerate international solidarity and peace, working on the field of Primary Health, Education, Microfinance and rural development.

  • Barretstown, Europe Barretstown

    Barretstown rebuilds the lives of children affected by childhood cancer and their families. The children, from 7 to 17, come from Ireland and across Europe to take part in activities such as canoeing, high ropes, drama and arts and crafts.  Through their achievements they regain confidence and self-esteem and their own inner strength.

  • The Royal Association for Disability Rights Radar – The Royal Association for Disability Rights

    Radar are a pan-disability campaigning organisation led by people with lived experience of disability or health conditions. Our vision is a just and equal society whose strength is human difference.  We are passionate about achieving equality and human rights for all. 

  • Rotaplast International Rotaplast International

    Rotaplast International is a humanitarian organization that sends teams of surgeons to Latin America, Asia and Africa to perform cleft lip and palate and other types of reconstructive surgery. Recognized by Charity Navigator with 4 stars, Rotaplast is committed to helping children who cannot otherwise access this treatment.

  • Access Sport Access Sport

    Founded in 2004 Access Sport is a charity whose mission is transform lives through sport. We work to give children in the most disadvantaged areas access to quality local sport and youth development opportunities by empowering the inspirational community volunteers who set up and run local sports clubs with financial investment allied to intensive development advice and enhanced networking.

  • Acción Solidaria on HIV/AIDS Acción Solidaria on HIV/AIDS

    To contribute to reduce the impact of the HIV/Aids epidemic, in Venezuela and other Spanish-speaking countries, through prevention, care and advocacy, from a rights-based perspective and in partnership with key actors.

  • TDR, a Special Programme for Research and Training in Tropical Diseases TDR, a Special Programme for Research and Training in Tropical Diseases

    The Canadian Cancer Society is a national community-based organization of volunteers whose mission is the eradication of cancer and the enhancement of the quality of life of people living with cancer.

  • Leonard Cheshire Disability Leonard Cheshire Disability

    Leonard Cheshire Disability supports thousands of disabled people in the UK and works in more than 50 countries. Our campaigns and services are geared towards improving opportunities and support for disabled people to pursue their goals and to live full lives.

  • Clinical Research Collaboration Network Clinical Research Collaboration Network (CRCN)

    CRCN inspires to enhance national and international collaborative clinical research to improve health care policy and medical practices through establishing a multicenter clinical research management system and research capacity development.

  • Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation

    The mission of Alex’s Lemonade Stand is to: a. Raise money and awareness of childhood cancer causes, primarily research into new treatments and cures, b. Encourage and empower others, especially children, to raise money for childhood cancer by holding their own Alex's Lemonade Stands.

  • Education Network to Advance Cancer Clinical Trials Education Network to Advance Cancer Clinical Trials (ENACCT)

    ENACCT’s mission is to improve access to cancer clinical trials through education and collaboration with communities, health care providers, and researchers.

  • St Bernard Project St Bernard Project

    St Bernard Project is an innovative, award-winning non-profit organization whose mission is to remove physical, mental, and emotional barriers for vulnerable families, senior citizens and disabled residents who are struggling to recover from the devastation and trauma caused by natural, man-made or economic disasters, while also serving as a model for disaster rebuilding and affordable housing.

  • Natori City Social Welfare Conference Natori City Social Welfare Conference (Japanese only)

    Based in the city of Natori in Japan, Natori City Social Welfare Conference aims to provide social welfare services to the community to help them in recovery & relief post the 2011 Tsunami earthquake.
