Allergy UK

Allergy UK is the country's leading national medical charity dealing with allergy. They are continually seeking ways to improve the quality of life for people with allergy, intolerance and chemical sensitivity by offering as much information as possible. Their helpline can provide practical advice on managing your allergy and contact details of local clinics.

Allergy UK provide medically accurate leaflets and fact sheets on all the most common allergies and intolerances as well as help and tips on managing your allergy. They work closely with GPs and Primary Health Care Services by providing up to date information and training in all aspects of allergy. Their Health Advisory Panel are a group of leading health care professionals with specialist knowledge in allergy, they are able to call on their services to assist Primary Care staff seeking professional advice and to assist their Helpline with any query on involved or less common allergies.

We are a new supporter of this group in 2007.

During 2007:

• We gave a Medical Fellowship donation of £500 to support the Allergy UK Pharmaceutical and Diagnostic Company meetings in 2007.  

Our funding represents 0.05 per cent of their income overall.
