Auditory Verbal UK (AVUK)

AVUK is an independent national charity formed to make auditory verbal therapy accessible to all young children with hearing-impairment in the UK.

We have supported this organisation since 2006.

During 2007:

  • We made a donation £25,000 as part of a three year funding project in support of the development of a Post Graduate Diploma in Auditory Verbal Therapy in conjunction with Aston University. This will enable many more speech therapists and similarly qualified individuals to learn this technique and thus assist in satisfying the current demands.

Our funding represents 7.5 per cent of their income overall.
