British Red Cross

The British Red Cross helps people in crisis, whoever and wherever they are. We are part of a global voluntary network, responding to conflicts, natural disasters and individual emergencies. We enable vulnerable people in the UK and abroad to prepare for and withstand emergencies in their own communities. And when the crisis is over, we help them to recover and move on with their lives.

We have supported this organisation since 1995.

During 2007:

  • The Gateway - options for independant programme - is a six year partnership to enable young people with a variety of complex learning and communication disabilities to lead more fully independent lives and to support them into adult life. Our charitable donation of £118,038 this year is the sixth year of our support.

Our funding represents 0.75 per cent of their income overall.
