Crusaid

Since 1986, Crusaid has worked towards a vision where people living with HIV can live with dignity and have a decent quality of life. Crusaid’s projects fighting HIV related poverty have provided support across the UK and Africa to raise the quality of clinical care, promote education and awareness of the virus and support community projects in the advancement of good practice and advocacy.

We are a new supporter of this group in 2007.

During 2007:

  • We gave a grant of £30,000 to conduct a research project to analyse the current context of migrant communities living in the UK who are affected by HIV and living in real poverty. The findings will be used to direct Cruisaid’s management of the hardship fund.

Our funding represents 1.67 per cent of their income overall.
