Cardiac Risk for the Young is a charity that raises awareness and performs research into a cardiac condition that is thought to be responsible for up to eight deaths a week in young adults aged 18 -35 many of whom have been up until their death extremely fit and healthy.

We have supported this group since 2006.

During 2006:

  • Our charitable donation of £10,000 supported a conference on ‘Young Sudden Cardiac Death’ to be held at the Institute of Child Health in London in October 2006.

Our funding represents 1 per cent of their income overall.
