Deafness Research UK

Deafness Research UK is the only national charity in the UK dedicated to improving the quality of life for hearing imparted people through medical research and information.  Deafness UK is active in undertaking medical research projects that aim to improve diagnostic techniques, technical devices and medical treatments available to hearing imparted people.

We have supported this group since 2006.

During 2007:

  • Our charitable donation of £9,718 funded the production of the charity's Annual Review.  

Our funding represents 0.84 per cent of their income overall.

In 2006:

Our charitable donation of £9,795 funded the production of their 2005 Annual Review.
We also gave a charitable donation of £126,248 to fund a three year project on precursor cells from bone marrow and human umbilical cord blood.
Our funding represents 5 per cent of their income overall.
