The Haemophilia Society

The Haemophilia Society was established in 1950 and is the national charity in the UK of and for people with haemophilia, von Willebrand's and related bleeding disorders.

They provide information, advice and support services and they advocate and campaign to secure the best possible care and treatment. They also provide services for people with haemophilia affected by HIV and hepatitis C.

We are a new supporter of this group in 2007.

During 2007:

  • We gave an unrestricted Medical Fellowship grant of £500 to support The Haemophilia Society for the benefit of patients as part of our annual employee charity nomination scheme.

Our funding represents 0.07 per cent of their income overall.
