Jeans for Genes

Jeans for Genes is a national charity which aims to improve the lives of children affected by a genetic disorder. It funds research into the causes and treatments of a wide range of conditions such as cystic fibrosis and haemophilia. Funds also provide laboratory equipment and vital support services for families. Grants are offered each year to up to 20 other charities in the genetic community for projects around the UK.

We are a new supporter of this group in 2007.

During 2007:

  • We gave a charitable donation of £9,000 to support the School Speakers programme to highlight the need of participating in this annual fundraising event and to explain to pupils the difference funding can make to all the charities involved.

Our funding represents 0.5 per cent of their income overall.
