Leonard Cheshire Disability

Leonard Cheshire Disability aim to change attitudes to disability and to serve disabled people around the world. The principal activity in the UK is the provision of services in support of disabled people including care homes, supported living, domicilliary support, day services, resource centre, rehabilitation, respite care, personal support and training and assistance for those looking for work. They are the largest UK voluntary sector provider of care and support services for disabled people and campaign on social policy and civil rights issues and have an impact on disabled people.

We have supported this group since 1995.

During 2007:

  • We gave a charitable donation of £178,715 the first of three annual donations in support of an education programme for young disabled people on sexual health.   

Our funding represents 0.12 per cent of their income overall.
