Multiple Sclerosis Society

The MS Society is the UK's largest charity for people affected by multiple sclerosis (MS). The Society funds MS research, runs respite care centres, provides grants (financial assistance), education and training on MS. It produces numerous publications on MS and runs a freephone specialist helpline.

We have supported this organisation since 2002.

During 2006:

  • Our charitable donation of £5,000 supported the Jacqueline de Pre Annual Wigmore Hall Concert held on Friday 31 March 2006 in aid of the Society.
  • In 1999 the Society established the MS Specialist Nurse Programme.  The aim of the scheme is to provide funding to help recruit and train nurses and other specialists to care for people with MS.  We have supported this scheme over three years with annual donations of £24,769.

Our funding represents 1 per cent of their income overall.
