Myasthenia Gravis Association

The Myasthenia Gravis Association was established as a self-help group in 1968 and became a Registered Charity in May 1976. It is the only UK charity dedicated to supporting people who have MG.

We have supported this organisation since 2001.

During 2007:

A donation of £171,935 was made in support of the charity's programme to provide specialist nurses to five regional locations in the United Kingdom trained to support individuals and their carers suffering from Myasthenia Gravis, a chronic autoimmune neuromuscular disorder. This is GSK's second year of support for this three year programme.

Our funding represents 21.33 per cent of their income overall.
