NAM

NAM is an award-winning, community-based organisation, which works from the UK. They deliver reliable and accurate HIV information across the world to HIV-positive people and to the professionals who treat, support and care for them. NAM is a UK registered charity.

NAM's publications are based in evidence, independent, impartial, relevant and accessible. NAM has two medical review panels and one panel of HIV-positive people to ensure these standards are achieved.

NAM supports people to take control of their lives and healthcare, enables them to understand and adhere to their HIV treatment, leading to their living longer and healthier lives.

We have supported this organisation since 1991.

During 2007:

  • We gave a grant of £50,000 towards NAM’s programme of HIV treatment and care educational support for clinicians and other healthcare staff in resource-limited countries.
