Plus VE

Plus VE is a monthly magazine published by How’s That Publishing aimed at everyone infected or affected by blood borne viruses, including HIV, viral hepatitis (A, B, C etc) and other sexually transmitted infections.

We have supported this organisation since 2000.

During 2007:

We gave an unrestricted grant of £5,200 to support international distribution of Plus VE magazine to HIV and AIDS community based organisations in the UK
We gave a grant of £25,000 to develop HIV treatment literacy materials for healthcare providers and community organisations to support treatment adherence for adults and children living with HIV and AIDS.

Our funding represents approximately 15.9 per cent of their income overall.

In 2006:
We gave a medical fellowship award of £1,000 to help support attendance at the International AIDS Conference in Toronto.
Our Positive Action programme provided support of £5,200 for distribution of +VE to 356 community based organisations in 92 countries.
Our funding represents approximately 3 per cent of their income overall.
