Prostate Scotland

Prostate Scotland's mission is to:

  • Inform men of all ages about the prostate - what it does, what can go wrong and what can be done to treat it.
  • Support men with prostate disease with up-to-date information on treatments, clinicians and support groups within Scotland.
  • Advance the understanding of mens’ health issues, raising awareness of the prostate and fighting the ignorance that has made prostate cancer Scotland’s second biggest cancer killer.

We are a new supporter of this group in 2007.

During 2007:

  • We gave an unrestricted Medical Fellowship grant of £2,000 to support Prostate Scotland for the benefit of patients.

Our funding represents just over 1 per cent of their income overall.
