REACT

REACT is a national charity working to improve the quality of life for financially disadvantaged children with life-limiting illnesses living throughout the UK. Their work is unrivalled and with its small team no other organisation can provide a tailor made service that responds immediately to an emergency situation. REACT can provide assistance within hours rather than months and this fast response helps to alleviate additional stresses that affect families on low income caring for a child with a terminal illness.

We have supported this organisation since 2005.

During 2007:

• We gave a charitable donation of £73,350, the second of three annual payments, in support of the charity's Regional Network Support Programme. 

Our funding represents 12 per cent of their income overall.
