Terrence Higgins Trust (THT)

Terrence Higgins Trust is the leading HIV and AIDS charity in the UK.

THT was one of the first charities to be set up in response to the HIV epidemic and has been at the forefront of the fight against HIV and AIDS ever since.

THT’s objectives are to reduce the spread of HIV and promote good sexual health and to provide services which improve the health and quality of life of those affected  with HIV and AIDS. They campaign for greater public understanding of the personal, social and medical impact of HIV and AIDS.

We have supported this organisation since 1993.

During 2007:

  • We gave a Medical Fellowship grant of £20,000 to support THT Direct, the national telephone and email helpline service
  • We gave a grant of £36,108.90 (Euro 50,000) to support the European HIV Criminalisation Scan.

Our funding represents 1.28 per cent of their income overall.
