UK Coalition of People Living with HIV and AIDS (UKC)

UKC is a group of people living with HIV and AIDS, campaigning, researching and providing services by and for people living with HIV and AIDS.

UKC aims to enable the diverse voices of people living with HIV and AIDS to be heard in order to influence change.

UKC is a membership organisation, a registered charity and a non profit making limited company.

We have supported this organisation since 2000.

During 2006:

  • Through our ‘Positive Action’ programme we gave grants amounting to £9,304 to cover costs of international distribution of Positive Nation magazine to resource-constrained organisations and individuals.
  • Positive Action also provided a grant of £7,235 to support the participation of the Ensuring Positive Futures project at the International AIDS Conference in Toronto, Canada.

Our funding represents 0.9 per cent of their income overall.
