Patient group funding
Institute for Neuroacanthocytosis
This group is the international centre for supporting patients and promoting clinical and basic research into:
- McLeod Syndrome
- Chorea acanthocytosis
- Huntington's disease like-2
- Pantothenate kinase-associated neurodegeneration
These diseases are so rare that only a virtual centre of excellence can bring together NA patients, and their families and friends, with clinicians and basic research scientists who seek to alleviate the consequences of these very rare and severe movement disorder diseases that seriously disable people around the world.
