PHA Europe - Pulmonary Hypertension Association
PHA Europe is an umbrella organisation for all the existing and newly formed PH support associations throughout Europe.
The ultimate goal for PHA Europe is to unite all European countries and to encourage the formation of effective PH support associations nationally.
Their mission is to look after the best interests of all European PH patients through supporting all (future) national European PH organisations by a standardised level of services.
We have supported this organisation since 2006.
During 2010:
- We gave an unrestricted grant of €1000 to help support the attendance and participation of the Vice President to share the patient’s perspective of living with PHA at a medical congress in Bologna, Italy in June
- In addition we gave an unrestricted grant of €10,000 to help support the development of an interactive website to ensure accurate information about pulmonary hypertension for patients.
- Finally, we gave an unrestricted grant of €30,000 as core support for 2011 to help them with their activities.
Our supported represented 23% of their overall income.
During 2008:
- We gave an unrestricted grant of €10,000 to help them with their activities.
Our support represents 60% of their overall income
During 2006:
- We gave an unrestricted grant of £30,000 to help them with their activities.
Our funding represents 35% of their income overall.
