Korea
The following group was supported by Korea in 2008:
Liver Korea
Liver Korea provides information on hepatitis disease and treatment. They provide an online medical consultancy managed by medical professionals to assist patient queries. They distribute e-newsletters to all web-members and arrange offline meetings for lectures and information sharing purposes.
We have supported this group since 1997.
During 2008:
- We gave KRW 878700 to support the 3rd Regional chronic hepatitis B patient group meeting in Hong Kong, to support a continued medical education programme.
Our funding represents less than 25% of their income overall.
