Age Concern Gwent
Age Concern Gwent is the largest voluntary sector organisation providing support to people over 50 in Blaenau Gwent, Caerphilly, Monmouthshire, Newport and Torfaen. Its principal objective is to promote the independence of older people, thereby improving the quality of their lives.
We believe that older people should be respected and valued as individuals in terms of their dignity, status, personal autonomy, diversity of needs, aspirations and expectations. Their potential to contribute to the community must be recognised by their having the maximum freedom of choice and control over their own lives.
Age Concern Gwent provides services of the highest quality within a framework of these values.
We are a new supporter of this organisation in 2008.
During 2008:
- We gave £150 to Age Concern Gwent in respect of a speaker fee for a presentation given at a GSK organised meeting ‘A Unified Approach to Patient Care’ on 27 November 2008.
Our support represents 0.008% of their overall funding.
