Action Cancer
Action Cancer has been operating for 33 years and is Northern Ireland’s leading local cancer charity dedicated to saving lives and supporting people affected by cancer. Its aim is to develop a future where fear of cancer has been removed because it has become preventable, detectable and treatable.
We have supported this group since 2006.
During 2006:
- We gave a £50,000 charitable donation to support the 'Big Bus' project, a state-of-the-art articulated lorry that can deliver diagnosis, support, education and care to cancer sufferers and their families throughout the Northern Ireland.
Our funding represents 1.60% of their income overall.
