Beating Bowel Cancer
Bowel cancer affects 35,000 people every year. Over half of those diagnosed will die which is particularly tragic as bowel cancer is completely curable if caught in time. Beating Bowel Cancer exists to raise the awareness in the general public of the disease and to highlight the symptoms thus enabling people to identify their condition much more quickly and thus increase their survival rate.
We have supported this organisation since 2001.
During 2006:
- Our £6,000 charitable donation supported the cost of updating the existing website, which currently gets in excess of 12,500 visitors per month.
Our funding represents 1% of their income overall.
