Breast Cancer Haven (BCH)
BCH offers an integrated approach to breast cancer care consisting of support, information, and a range of complementary therapies, specifially designed to support the physical and emotional needs of patients with breast cancer before, during and after standard medical treatment.
We have supported this group since 2005.
During 2007:
- We gave a charitable donation of £79,022 in support of a 15 month pilot programme to research 'The effects of integrating the Breast Cancer Haven Programme with standard medical treatment on psycho-physiological outcomes in women with breast cancer'.
Our funding represents 5% of their income overall.
