Leonard Cheshire Disability

Leonard Cheshire Disability aims to change attitudes towards disability and to serve disabled people around the world.  Their principal activity in the UK is the provision of services in support of disabled people including care homes, supported living, domiciliary support, day services, resource centres, rehabilitation, respite care, personal support and training and assistance for those looking for work.  They are the largest UK voluntary sector provider of care and support services for disabled people and campaign on social policy and civil rights issues and have an impact on disabled people's lives.

We have supported this organisation since 1995.

During 2009:

  • We gave a charitable donation of £190,617.  This is the final donation from a three year grant in support of an education programme for young disabled people on sexual health.

Our support represents 0.13% of their overall funding.



During 2008:

  • We gave a charitable donation of £151,637 the second of three annual donations in support of an education programme for young disabled people on sexual health.

Our support represents 0.10% of their overall funding.



During 2007:

  • We gave a charitable donation of £178,715 the first of three annual donations in support of an education programme for young disabled people on sexual health.   

Our funding represents 0.12% of their income overall.
