Patient group funding

Lymphoma Association

Founded by patients in 1986, the Lymphoma Association is the only specialist UK charity that provides accurate medical information and support to lymphatic cancer patients, their families, friends and carers.

We have supported this organisation since 2002.

During 2010:

  • We gave £3,600 as sponsorship of the Beacons of Hope Awards, presented on an annual basis to mark World Lymphoma Awareness Day.
  • We gave £4,200 towards The Helplines Association (THA) Quality Standard reaccreditation

Our support represents approximately 0.8% of their overall income.



During 2009:

  • We gave £3,390 as sponsorship of the Beacons of Hope Awards, presented on an annual basis to mark World Lymphoma Awareness Day.

Our support represents approximately 0.3% of their overall income.



During 2008:

  • We gave a donation of £9,900 to assist with the production of two booklets to help young people understand lymphoma.

Our support represents 1% of their overall funding.
