Over The Wall

Over The Wall provides five weeks residential activity camps each year to approximately 400 children affected by serious illnesses. With venues in Dorset, the Midlands and Scotland they are well placed to provide nationwide support. Over The Wall’s unique American style camp experience addresses the therapeutic aspects of a child’s illness by providing them with the chance to enjoy a week of fun, friendship and challenges in a medically supervised and safe environment, all totally free of charge. The children are given the opportunity to take part in a highly structured programme of social, creative and physical activities such as climbing, horse riding, drama and arts & crafts which helps to boost their confidence and self esteem.

Over The Wall also provides one week at Easter for the siblings of sick children who can often feel left out while parents focus on the treatment and recovery of the sick child.

We have supported this organisation since 2007.
