Patient group funding
The Patients Association
The Patients Association are a charitable organisation providing patients with an opportunity to raise concerns and share experiences of healthcare. Through their Helpline, correspondence and research they learn from patients the issues that are of concern and work towards improving the healthcare that patients receive.
We have been corporate members of this organisation since 2003.
During 2009:
- We gave £7,500 as corporate membership for 2009.
Our support represents 4.3% of their overall income.
During 2008:
- We gave £15,000 as corporate membership for the years 2007 and 2008.
Our funding represents 8% of their income overall.
During 2006:
- We gave an unrestricted grant of £7,500 to help them with their activities.
Our funding represents 5% of their income overall.
