Primary Immunodeficiency Association
The Primary Immunodeficiency Association (PiA) exists to support people living with Primary Immunodeficiencies. PiA liase with clinicans and immunologists, fund relevant research and campaign for the rights of their members in the UK.
We have supported this group since 1994.
During 2007:
- We gave a charitable donation of £165,000 to fund a three year medical research programme entitled 'Family studies in Common Variable Immunodeficiency' with Dr Bobo Grimbacher, Royal Free Hospital & University College London
Our funding represents less than 25% of their income overall.
