Samantha Dickson Brain Tumour Trust

Samantha Dickson Brain Tumour Trust funds scientific and clinical research into childhood and adult brain tumours, and offers support and information to patients and their carers. The Charity has become the largest brain tumour support charity and largest dedicated funder of laboratory based brain tumour research in the United Kingdom.

We have supported this organisation since 2002.

During 2009:

  • We gave a charitable donation of £148,966 to fund a three year research programme entitled ‘Molecular-genetic and epigenetic analysis of pilocytic & pilomyxoid astrocytomas and ependymomas’.

Our support represents 10% of their overall funding.



During 2008:

  • We gave a charitable donation of £5,000 to assist with the costs of the Trust's Information Day in 2008.

Our support represents 0.4% of their overall funding.
