Patient group funding
Sparks
Sparks is the children’s medical research charity, with the remit to fund research across the whole spectrum of paediatric medicine. Their goal is for all babies to be born healthy and stay healthy.
We have supported this organisation since 2006.
During 2008:
- We gave a charitable donation of £133,125 to fund a three year research programme entitled 'Is extra cellular signal-related kinsase (ERK) involved in causing Neonatal brain injury'.
Our support represents 3% of their overall funding.
