Graduate finance programme
Are you looking for a grounding in financial management? Or experience of different businesses? Do you want the chance to thrive in a global finance community?
What's finance all about?
Finance in our business is not just about numbers. It’s about adding value and shaping strategy for the business. Our finance team works in partnership with the whole organisation to drive business planning, manage costs and maximise our cash flow. This helps us to generate new revenue for investment in research & development (R&D) and enhance returns for our shareholders.
Do I have the skills?
A minimum 2:1 degree is required, and you must also have either a grade A in GCSE maths or a grade A or B in A-level maths. Whatever your degree, you'll be a self-starter with a strong interest in finance. An excellent communicator able to establish good working relationships, you'll be resilient and commercially-driven. Strong influencing, analytical and multi-tasking skills are also required.
You should be flexible about location and ideally have a valid driving licence.
What will the programme be like?
Our three-year rotational finance programme combines practical work experience with professional study. This will equip you with the skills to develop a career within our global finance community.
You’ll gain a solid grounding in financial management through three, year-long challenging placements in major areas of the business such as R&D, manufacturing or commercial. As well as gaining a breadth of finance experience, you’ll develop a strong professional network by working in a variety of finance teams, e.g. shared services, finance partnering or a centre of excellence.
Juggling work and study for a finance qualification can be demanding. But you’ll be fully supported and the rewards will be worth the hard work you put in.
How will it help my career prospects?
Our graduate programme will develop and support you at every stage of your development within finance. We’ll encourage you to actively manage your career and personal development. Stretching rotations will provide you with the foundation for a successful finance career with us.
What will I learn?
As well as developing a sound understanding of financial management, you’ll undertake a structured examination programme leading to CIMA qualification status at the end of your three years. On and off the job, you’ll build the key management skills required for a successful career.
Our programme has been awarded the highest level of accreditation by CIMA recognising our high standards of training and support. Find out more about CIMA (Link - http://www.cimaglobal.com/).
How can I apply?
