School students
Are you interested in gaining some valuable work experience? Do you want to spend a week with a company that believes in helping young talent to flourish?
It’s never easy to decide what you want to do in the future. That’s why we do what we can to give young people a taste of working life to help them make the right choices. We offer a limited number of placements each year. We receive a much greater number of applications for places than the number of places available, so we have prioritised access to these places to schools located close to our sites. However if accepted you’ll find that we’re a company that inspires its people to learn and grow. During your week with us, you’ll learn by doing – on the job – and you’ll be able to pick up some handy tips from the experienced colleagues around you.
What work experience programmes are available?
Our annual work experience programme at our research & development (R&D) sites at Stevenage (Hertfordshire), Ware (Hertfordshire) and Harlow (Essex) takes place in the February half term. It will be a week packed with interesting experiences.
Places are available to students in Year 12/13 studying science. IT or engineering. Priority will be given to students attending schools that are local to our Stevenage, Ware and Harlow sites. Application packs are posted out to local schools in September with deadline of Oct end.
We are unable to offer any other formal work experience placements.
