Opportunities for school students at GSK

We offer STEM Insight Events for GCSE and A-Level (or equivalent) students. The objectives of these events are to:

  • Inspire GCSE/A-Level students to study STEM-related subjects at a higher level
  • Give an insight into working for a healthcare company such as GSK
  • Demonstrate the wide range of opportunities available in this industry

This event allows students to gain an insight into the career opportunities available at GSK. Students will be led through a number of structured sessions based around the theme “Molecule to Market”. The sessions will cover a range of disciplines from drug discovery right through to branding and marketing. Throughout the programme, students will also develop key skills such as problem solving, teamwork and communication. Students will also receive the Industrial Cadets Silver award from EDT on completion of the STEM Insight Event.

How do I apply for the Work experience and Insight programmes?

GSK has a broad commitment to inclusion and diversity which includes increasing representation and inclusion of all the different groups of people across our workplace. We welcome applications from students from all backgrounds.

Applications are not currently live at the moment. Please bookmark this page to check when they re-open.
