Join us in the communications & government affairs (CGA) function at GSK, where you’ll play a key role in helping us protect and enhance our reputation both inside and outside the company, ensuring our story is told correctly and consistently across all our businesses.

Our CGA team is vital in building engagement and belief in GSK, its purpose, strategy, and culture – both internally and externally. We protect and enhance GSK’s reputation, ensure our story is told accurately and consistently, bring external viewpoints into the company, and partner with our business to develop GSK policy and positions. Ultimately, CGA has a critical role in growing and supporting the business for the benefit of patients.

Develop your career with us

Our two-year graduate programme is designed to help you develop critical skills as part of a company united in its purpose to get ahead of disease together. You’ll experience three rotations of eight months each, giving you the chance to learn and gain experience across internal and external communications, and government affairs, in several business areas.

As a graduate in the communications & government affairs team, you can expect to:

  • Hone your skills and increase your knowledge of internal and external communications and government affairs through a tailored development programme.
  • Be involved in our digital activity, both internally and externally, on our social media channels.
  • Learn to manage projects and prioritise tasks effectively, operating with flexibility in an unpredictable environment.
  • Analyse and interpret information to understand healthcare trends and insights.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional GSK teams in areas such as Medical, Commercial, HR, and Supply Chain to develop internal and external key messages and grow your influencing and presentation skills.

Join us in the finance function at GSK, where you'll use numbers to make a real difference, providing an independent viewpoint to drive decision-making and strategy across our organisation.

Develop your career with us

Over three years, you’ll undertake three rotations (job placements) where you’ll learn and embed the core technical, finance, digital, and data skills you need to move forward.

You’ll also have the opportunity to work hand-in-hand with business stakeholders – from commercial and manufacturing to R&D – to build your commercial acumen and support their business decisions. Wherever you are, you'll build upon your technical knowledge and gain new business expertise, providing robust, insightful analysis that helps the department achieve its objectives.

You could bring a new product technology from our suppliers to our patients, or perhaps create a value-driven ad campaign with our social-media partners to reach new audiences in emerging markets. With a stream of absorbing projects, procurement is a fascinating area with tremendous scope for progress.
