Over two to three years, our Future Leaders graduate programme will challenge and support you to grow professionally and personally. You’ll have stretching rotations working on live projects alongside experts in industry. These might just be in your home country, although some teams will offer rotations into other parts of the business. In all our roles, you’ll work with a variety of different markets and cultures.

I have had a very good mixture of formal training and also a lot of opportunities to experience challenging work. I’ve been able to work with my manager and some of the senior leadership team in my area to decide what areas I want to go into and the skills I need to build

As well as honing your function-specific skills, you’ll explore your leadership potential through training, mentoring and on-the-job experience. As you improve your skills, you’ll also build your knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry.

Learning on our Future Leaders programme

All of our Future Leaders associates, from right across the globe, take part in our Personal Skills and Interpersonal Skills training during their programme to help them understand their strengths, the strengths of others and how our incredibly diverse team can work together towards our mission to help more do more, feel better and live longer.

Be part of a global group of Future Leaders

Throughout the programme, you’ll be part of a diverse, global network of graduates who are sharing similar daily experiences in different parts of the world. These peer-to-peer relationships are a fantastic opportunity to get exposure and inspiration beyond your home market and learn different approaches to your job.

I think GSK is one of the few companies that takes people development seriously. I've never seen such a structured program, nor this flexibility to explore diverse roles

What happens after the programme?

After you complete our Future Leaders programme, you’ll be equipped with the skills and knowledge you need to decide on the next steps in your career and really own your development. Some of our graduates go on to look for further breadth in their careers, whereas others have already decided on the particular area that best suits them. There’s no limit to how far you can go with us – it’s up to you to prove yourself.
