About GSK
What is GSK’s approach to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion?
We want GSK to be a diverse, inclusive organisation that attracts and retains outstanding talent, because this brings greater opportunity to create better health outcomes for the patients around the world who rely on our medicines and vaccines.
We focus on developing an inclusive organisation where all our colleagues feel engaged and know their work makes an important contribution.
An inclusive environment welcomes different knowledge, backgrounds, perspectives, experiences and working styles from across the global population. This not only enhances individual creativity and innovation, it makes good business sense. Learn more about inclusion and diversity at GSK here.
What opportunities are there for volunteering at GSK?
Volunteering is another way for all of us, in teams and individually, to make an impact and get ahead of issues that matter to society. We encourage GSK employees to help others through our volunteering programme that allows us to give our time and skills to benefit charitable organisations.

How can I choose the career path that’s right for me?
Ultimately, it’s up to you to embark on the career that is right for you. On our website, you’ll find insights from our current and recent graduates, as well as detailed outlines of what you can expect from each programme.
You can learn more about it here.
What qualities is GSK looking for?
You need to have real ambition. To possess genuine interest in your chosen career path and a self-motivated, proactive approach. You’ll need to be a clear, effective communicator who can work across boundaries and quickly build a rapport with a wide range of people.
Just as important is the ability to adapt to change and stay focused when the pressure is on. While you’ll have the drive and confidence to trust your own judgement, you’ll also be a team player who thrives while working with others and can develop the ability to influence people. Furthermore, you’ll need an analytical mind and a talent for multi-tasking to prioritise your time and resources.

What does the application process involve?
We have four different stages in our application process, but this varies depending on the country and which career path you are applying to. Where we use all stages, the process is as follows: first, we ask you to fill in an application form. In most countries, we will then ask you to complete an online assessment to give us a better idea of your strengths and suitability for the programme.
If you pass the assessment, we’ll invite you for an interview (either with a GSK representative or via a virtual recorded interview). In some cases there might be an additional technical assessment. The final stage is an invitation to an assessment centre (that will take place either virtually or face to face in one of our GSK offices).
