Our finance organisation plays a critical role in driving business performance and growth. This is an opportunity to become one of our future global finance leaders, learning from industry experts in an environment of constant innovation. In return for strong performance, dedication and commitment, the Esprit finance programme enables high-potential people to develop their knowledge and broaden their global business perspective.
What will the programme be like?
The programme brings together intensive personal development, on-the-job coaching and access to senior business leaders. You will gain both breadth and depth of experience to build on your existing skills and capabilities.
You'll take on a wide range of rotations to gain experience of Global, Local Market and Leadership roles. You may be a finance partner supporting an area of the business such as Research and Development (R&D), Vaccines or Manufacturing deepening your business knowledge or in a Global Corporate Finance above-Market role, providing a broader overview of our finance organisation. As part of the programme, you will be expected to demonstrate the skills and capability to lead others so at least one of your rotations will be a leadership role. As part of Finance Transformation, new Finance hubs have been created in Costa Rica, Malaysia and Poland which offer Esprit the ideal opportunity to lead teams and the hone skills needed and valued to lead the finance organisation of the future.
The focus will be to develop and expose you to a range of opportunities that meet your needs as well as those of the business. We are selective in our recruiting process so we can offer a more tailored programme and a more personal experience.
Where can I go?
Complete the programme and you’ll be equipped with the expertise and experience needed to take on a senior leadership position in your home country. We don’t take a one-size-fits-all approach to training and development. Roles on completion of the programme will be based on individual capabilities - throughout the programme we’ll look to you to display the necessary behaviours to thrive in our business. There's no limit to success here, so it's up to you to prove yourself.
What will I learn?
Challenging rotations will give you a broad range of experience across our finance organisation. Although you'll be taking on challenging roles right from the start, we'll support your personal and career development at all times. Formal and on-the-job training is provided, as is access to senior management through an assigned sponsor from our finance leadership team. We will also offer you a mentor to support your ongoing development and provide constant support from the programme team.
Associates who are successful on the programme are recognised for their contributions and are well positioned to accelerate their careers in our finance function. Career paths vary widely by your interest, career alignment, and overall business need.

- The desire to develop a career in finance in the healthcare industry
