You’ve decided you’re ready for a career move, but how do you go about applying for a job at GSK?

Here we share some practical advice on making sure GSK is the right company for you, and how you can submit the best possible application.

Applying for a new job

We believe your experience of applying for a role with us should be collaborative and enjoyable. We’re interested in what you can bring to GSK but at the same time, we want you to assess whether we’re right for you – and, as each role is different, whether the one you’re applying for is also the best fit for you.

A great CV should be tailored to the role you are applying for. Make sure that you highlight your most relevant experience and showcase the skills and experience you can bring. 

Your CV should be both easy to read and follow; try to avoid using too many acronyms and keep the format simple and clear.

Cover letter

Use your cover letter to outline your suitability and why this role is right for you at this stage in your career. Use the job description to guide you on the areas you should emphasise.

Don’t be afraid to show your personality.


Make the most of your networks. Use your friends, mentors and contacts to get further insight into GSK.

Our selection process

Where possible, our selection process will happen virtually via phone calls and video interviews. Our recruitment team will work directly with you to support you through the process, but before you click the apply button, or sit down for a video interview, here is a useful guide to help you prepare.
