I was a Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps. I was part of a communications team. I started running that team and kind of fell in love with computing. And then from there, I jumped on the opportunity to come to GSK.

I'm service-minded and GSK allows me to be of service to some of the big healthcare problems we're trying to solve.

I'm Richard Robinson and I'm the director of software development and mobility at GSK.

I run an international team of developers and designers and I get to work with some of the best, brightest and fastest.

I will put them up against anybody on the planet from an engineering perspective.

And together, we can tackle not only the hard problems, but the hard problems at scale.

We are working at the tip edge of technology, trying to find the answers for tomorrow's questions.

Right now, we’re prototyping at-home sampling in decentralised clinical trials where a patient can take a sample at home and send it to GSK for analysis.

It really helps us increase our reach and it helps us get medicine and vaccines to patients faster.

I'm the lead for GiGi, our gen AI digital assistant, built by GSK for GSK.

It enables us to shave a few seconds off each person's task.

Imagine what that looks like at the scale of GSK.

GSK enables me to prioritise my family as well as other interests that I have.

I'm putting together a 1948 Plymouth Coupe Deluxe. My kids call the car Miss Tiny. Miss Tiny Nesbitt is the car's full name.

My passion for technology has absolutely brushed off on my kids.

I got a whole small little dev shop at home.

What drives me is to leave the world better for my children than how I found it.

And the work I do at GSK profoundly enables me to do that because of the impact it has on so many people around the world.

And that's when you wake up in the morning, you swell your chest up and, like: ‘I did that’.
