Denmark

In Denmark, our focus is on bringing quality medicines and vaccines to Danish patients; our main areas being respiratory, HIV, immuno-inflammation and oncology. We have a large portfolio of vaccines that help protect people at all stages of life. In addition, we have a wide selection of consumer products for oral health, pain relief, colds, and digestive health, to name a few.
We have approximately 140 employees in Denmark with the headquarters in the capital region. We want every employee to be able to focus on their health and wellbeing, to develop and be themselves at work.
Driving innovation and sustainability
We support GSK’s and Denmark’s innovation agenda by running several studies in Danish research centres.
Partnerships are key: we collaborate with Danish researchers to explore future treatments such as gene profiling and biomarkers in our quest to find treatment for people with difficult-to-treat cancer types.
This innovation agenda is pursued in collaboration with Trial Nation and our membership with LIF.
Sustainable development is imperative for us. By developing and producing climate friendly inhaler devices, we work actively to reduce the carbon footprint.
We also support the local community. During the COVID-19 crisis our employees have been able to volunteer in the local hospital with full pay from GSK.
Julemærkehjemmet Skælskør received our support as part of our Orange Day community volunteering initiative. Our employees volunteered by spending one working day on outdoor refurbishing.

Healthcare professionals
Healthcare professionals are important partners to us. We aim at enhancing sustainable development of the healthcare sector and collaborate with other healthcare companies, authorities and healthcare organisations (HCOs) and healthcare professionals (HCPs) in a transparent way, and always with the patient’s interest in mind.
Disclosure of payments made to HCPs and HCOs in Denmark
Legislation in Denmark requires HCPs to self-disclose any engagement with a pharmaceutical company, all R&D engagements by named disclosure and congress sponsorships via the Danish Medicines Agency. Read more about the disclosure of payments made to HCPs in Denmark.
Any payments to healthcare organisations (HCOs) and hospitals in Denmark are disclosed on GSKPro and in a yearly report on the homepage of ENLI (The Ethical Committee for the Pharmaceutical Industry.)
Information about GSK products and therapy areas for HCPs
Healthcare professionals in Denmark can obtain information about GSK products and therapy areas by visiting GSKPro.
Collaboration with patient organisations
Patient organisations help patients and their carers by providing information and support. They also do important preventive work to enhance public health. We collaborate with several patient organisations to support their work for the patients. We disclose all patient organisation collaboration in real time on GSKPro.
